Dick Clark ProductionsBefore they kick off their farewell tour this summer, The Go-Go’s will be taking the stage at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. The veteran all-female group’s performance will celebrate the 35th anniversary of their hit, “We Got the Beat,” and give viewers a taste of their upcoming North American tour.

Their final trek after 38 years is scheduled to get underway on August 2 in Clearwater, Florida, and will run through August 30 in the group’s hometown of Los Angeles.  The Go-Go’s lineup currently includes four of the band’s five original members — singer Belinda Carlisle, guitarists Jane Wiedlin and Charlotte Caffey, and drummer Gina Schock. Bassist Kathy Valentine left the band in 2013.

The Billboard Music Awards will be broadcast live from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 22 at 8 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. PT on ABC. Rapper/actor Ludacris and R&B singer Ciara will be hosting.
