Mary McCartney/MPL CommunicationsPaul McCartney is set to kick off his North American “One on One” tour tonight in Fresno, California, but he keeps adding dates to the trek one after the next. After announcing earlier this week that he’ll play a July 21 show in Hamilton, Canada, the rock legend has now confirmed four new U.S. concerts, taking place July 10 in Cincinnati; July 12 in Philadelphia; July 19 in Hershey, Pennsylvania; and August 7 in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The Cincinnati concert will be held at the US Bank Arena and will be the former Beatles star’s first in that city since 2011. The Philadelphia gig will take place at Citizens Bank Park, where the Philadelphia Phillies play; Sir Paul’s most recent performance in the City of Brotherly Love was last June. The Hershey show will take place at Hersheypark Stadium, and will mark McCartney first-ever performance in that city. The East Rutherford gig will be held at MetLife Stadium, located next to the site of the now-demolished Giants Stadium, where Paul last played in 1993.
Tickets for the Cincinnati concert go on sale Monday, April 18 at 10 a.m. local time, and for the Philadelphia, Hershey and East Rutherford shows on Friday, April 22, at 10 a.m. American Express card members will be able to purchase pre-sale tickets for the Cincinnati gig starting April 14 at 10 a.m., and for the other three concerts beginning Monday, April 18, at 10 a.m.
