Brian Rasic/WireImageTMZ reports that Motley Crue‘s Vince Neil and actor Nicolas Cage were involved in a physical altercation that took place late Thursday afternoon after Neil allegedly attacked a female fan at the Aria Hotel in Las Vegas. The gossip website says that, according to law enforcement sources, the fight took place at about 5 p.m. after a woman approached Cage and requested an autograph.
Sources allege to TMZ that the rock singer got behind the woman and pulled her to the ground by her hair. The website has a video clip that apparently captures the end of the incident, showing Cage grabbing and hugging Neil as he tries to calm him down.
The video shows Cage yelling, “Stop this s*** now!” at Neil as he grabs him. Vince is then heard saying, “I love you,” to which Nic responds, “I love you too.”
Police tell TMZ that Neil was cited for battery but was not taken into custody. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
