MVD Entertainment GroupWith Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band on hiatus since 2014, the group’s longtime guitarist Nils Lofgren has been focusing on playing solo concerts.  The versatile musician is now set to release a new live album featuring performances recorded during his January 2015 tour of the U.K..

UK 2015 Face the Music Tour will hit stores on November 13, and features a career-spanning set of songs from Lofgren’s solo career, as well as from his work with Grin and Crazy Horse.  The 15-track collection includes a rendition of Crazy Horse’s “I Don’t Want to Talk About It” — a tune written by that group’s late guitarist, Danny Whitten — and a version of Nils’ recent solo song “Miss You Ray” that he renamed “Miss You ‘C'” as a tribute to E Street Band sax player Clarence Clemons.

“We all set out to do special, inspired shows everywhere,” Lofgren writes about the U.K. trek.  “We were all thrilled with the audience response.”

The album’s track, “Too Many Miles,” is streaming now at the MVD Entertainment Group’s SoundCloud page. You can pre-order the UK 2015 Face the Music Tour CD now at NilsLofgren.com, while a limited number of signed copies are available for pre-order at Backstreets.com.  The album also will be sold as a digital download.
