Eleven Seven MusicMotley Crue frontman Vince Neil and musician Gunnar Nelson will both be a part of Wednesday night’s episode of Celebrity Wife Swap on the ABC.
Both rock stars will swap significant others, trading households and children, but not the bedrooms, for the duration of one week. During the first part of the week, each woman will step into the lifestyle of the other, but get to set the rules for their new, adopted households during the for the second half of the week.
And there’s quite a contrast between the Neil and Nelson’s lifestyles. Vince, 54, lives more of a rock star’s life in Las Vegas with his 34-year old girlfriend of four years, Rain, and their dog. The more sedate Nelson, grandson of Ozzie and Harriett Nelson and half of the ’90’s rock band Nelson, is a family man and is quite settled in Nashville as a hands-on father with his wife, Lila, and three children.
Predictably, both women feel out of place with their new environments at the time of the swap, with Rain expected to tone down her style of living and Lila encouraged to live on the wild side. Rain does get to go to a barbecue at Aerosmith bassist Brad Whitford’s home, but feels the pace is too slow. Lila gets a taste of Neil’s life with a raucous night of partying with an entourage that included Neil’s daughter, Elle.
Celebrity Wife Swap airs Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. ET.
