
Credit: Nels IsraelsonJackson Browne certainly isn’t taking it easy in 2016. The folk-rock legend has added new series of U.S. dates in June and August to his already busy tour itinerary.
The first run of new shows is scheduled from a June 3 concert in Pittsburgh, through a June 28 gig in Interlochen, Michigan, will see Browne stop in a variety cities in the Northeast and Midwest. The August performances kick off August 9 in Bend, Oregon, and are mapped out through an August 29-30 engagement in San Diego.
Pre-sale tickets, VIP packages and benefit seats for the newly scheduled shows will be available for purchase starting on Wednesday, March 2, at JacksonBrowne.com.
Browne’s previously announced concerts include a March 2-3 stand at The Town Hall in New York City with flamenco artist Raúl Rodríguez, a run of West Coast dates in April and May, and two special shows opening for James Taylor on June 30 at Chicago’s Wrigley Field and August 3 at Boston’s Fenway Park.
Jackson continues to promote his latest studio album, Standing in the Breach, which was released in 2014.
