“I’m really looking forward to playing some rock ‘n’ roll here in Las Vegas,” said Fogerty. “I wanted to come in here loud and proud on a bike as kind of the rock ‘n’ roll way, and if you come out to the show you’ll see that too…I thank The Venetian for inviting me to do this, and I’m really gonna have a good time with you all.”

The 70-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer then proceeded to play an unplugged version of his classic CCR tune “Have You Ever Seen the Rain,” while encouraging those in attendance to sing along.

Fogerty’s Las Vegas show, dubbed “Fortunate Son in Concert,” gets underway at The Venetian Theatre this Friday, January 8, with additional performances scheduled for January 9, 13, 15, 16, 20, 22 and 23. The show will focus on the many classic songs that appeared on the three albums Creedence Clearwater Revival released in 1969, and also will feature Fogerty playing other well-known CCR tunes, as well as selections from his solo career.

Showtime for all performances is 8 p.m. PT.  You can purchase tickets online at Venetian.com/JohnFogerty, at any Venetian or Palazzo box office, or by calling 702-414-9000702-414-9000 or 866-641-7469866-641-7469 FREE.
