Gregg Allman Tribute Concert to Be Streamed Live Online This Friday

Image Courtesy of Skyville LiveA special tribute concert saluting Gregg Allman will be held in Nashville this Friday, December 11, and will be streamed live online as part of the ongoing Skyville Live series.  Allman will take part in the show, which also will feature performances by folk/blues veteran Taj Mahal and country stars Little Big Town and Chris Stapleton.

The event, which is being produced in partnership with USA Today, will be recorded in high-def video and will take place in front a live audience.  You can view the intimate show at SkyvilleLive.USAToday.com starting at 8 p.m. ET.

You can watch videos of previous Skyville Live performances at SkyvilleLive.com.  Among the artists who have taken part in earlier shows are Kris Kristofferson, Gladys Knight, Jewel and Lady Antebellum.

In other news, Allman has started adding concerts to his upcoming solo tour itinerary.  The longtime Allman Brothers Band frontman will close out 2015 with a December 30-31 stand at Symphony Hall in Atlanta.  His 2016 schedule currently is mapped out through an April 14 show in Charleston, South Carolina.  The singer also will take part in the Rock Legends Cruise IV in late January following a previously announced four-night engagement that month at the Grand Opera House in Macon, Georgia.
