Rick Springfield fans will get to witness the pop-rock idol as they've never seen him before when he hits the road this fall for his first-ever solo acoustic tour. The 64-year-old singer/guitarist's Stripped Down trek will kick off with a November 24 concert in Chicago and is plotted out through a December 13 show in Glenside, Pennsylvania.
The tour, which currently consists of just nine dates, also will include a two-night stand in New York City and a stop in Detroit. In addition to playing unplugged versions of many of his memorable tunes, Springfield will share stories about the songs and his life during the performances.
Tickets for most of the Stripped Down shows go sale this Friday. To find out more details about the concerts, and to check out Rick's complete tour schedule, visit RickSpringfield.com.
