Al Pereira/Getty ImagesNewly-minted BFFs Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer popped up in an unusual place on Thursday: dancing on Billy Joel‘s piano during his concert at Chicago’s Wrigley Field.
While Billy sang “Uptown Girl,” J-Law and Schumer, who are writing a screenplay together, danced barefoot on the piano, and Lawrence even kissed Schumer’s feet.
How did this pairing come about? “Uptown Girl” is included in Amy’s film Trainwreck, and the whole thing was apparently planned. According to E!, Kyle Dunnigan, a writer for Amy’s Comedy Central show Inside Amy Schumer, posted video on Instagram earlier showing the two actresses rehearsing with Billy, but later deleted it.
Kim Caramele, Schumer’s sister, later shared video of the actual concert, which she shot while standing behind J-Law and Amy as they danced and Billy sang.
Amy and Jennifer met a few months ago, and Jennifer recently told the New York Times that in the screenplay they’re writing together, they’ll play sisters. “Amy and I were creatively made for each other,” she said. ” We have different flavors. It’s been the most fun experience of my life.”
