Halloween-Themed “NOW” Hits Compilation Features Songs by Donovan, Blue Oyster C

PRNewsFoto/Legacy RecordingsFrom the folks who bring us the NOW That’s What I Call Music! series comes a new compilation featuring a variety of spooky-themed tunes that will arrive just in time for everyone’s favorite scary fall holiday.  NOW That’s What I Call Halloween!, which hits stores on Friday, September 11, is an 18-track collection that offers a mix of horrifying hits and macabre movie themes by a variety of pop and rock artists.

Among the tunes featured on the album are Donovan‘s “Season of the Witch,” Blue Oyster Cult‘s “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” and Warren Zevon‘s “Werewolves of London,” as well as the Rockwell hit “Somebody Watching Me,” which includes a chorus sung by Michael JacksonNOW Halloween! also contains Mike Oldfield‘s “Tubular Bells” — the theme to The Exorcist — and Danny Elfman‘s main-title and end-title themes to Beetlejuice.  In addition, the compilation features Bobby “Boris” Pickett and the Crypt-Kickers‘ classic Halloween single “Monster Mash.”
