Don Henley Announces Tour Dates, Slated to Receive Americana Music Award

Danny ClinchDon Henley has a busy fall in store. Henley will launch a series of tour dates October 3  in Phoenix to support Cass County, his new country music album. Cass County, which arrives September 25, is the Eagles co-leader’s his first solo effort in 15 years and only his fifth ever. Shawn Colvin will open for Henley at all these shows.

In other news, Henley will be honored by the Americana Music Association on September 16. He is one of half a dozen artists slated to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award. The ceremony will take place at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and will air on PBS later this year.
