ABCThe reports were true: Grammy Award-winning singer Chaka Khan will be among the celebs competing for the Mirrorball Trophy on season 21 of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.
The singer announced the news via a brief video posted on the show’s official Twitter account. Khan tells her fans to “look out for me this season.”
The “I’m Every Woman” singer will compete against Spy Kids actress Alexa PenaVega and her husband, musician Carlos PenaVega; Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter; Bindi Irwin, daughter of late Crocodile Hunter star Steve Irwin; jockey Victor Espinoza; and 15-year-old online star Hayes Grier.
The rest of the cast will be revealed September 2 on ABC’s Good Morning America.
Season 21 of Dancing with the Stars premieres Sept. 14, at 8 p.m. ET.
