It's been more than a decade since Boston released its last studio album, 2002's Corporate America, but if a recent online report is true, the veteran rockers will be issuing a new collection of tunes before the end of the year. According to MusicTap.com, the album will be titled Life, Love & Hope and will be hitting stores on December 3.
The record will be the group's first since the tragic death of lead singer Brad Delp, who committed suicide in 2007 at the age of 55. A message posted on the band's website back in April revealed that Boston guitarist/songwriter Tom Scholz was nearly finished with the album and had just recorded a song titled "Someday" for the project. The note also reported that Scholz planned to focus on putting together a Boston concert DVD after completing the record.
